On 3/11/2022 at 1659 hours, Prince of Wales troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 1982 Chevrolet pickup for multiple violations. The driver, 51 year old Klawock resident, Carmelo Baez was found to be operating the vehicle with a revoked drivers license. Baez was issued a summons for DWLR and released.

On 3/11/2022 at 1754 hours, Prince of Wales troopers contacted 56-year-old Craig resident, Michael Brewer at a residence in Klawock. Brewer had multiple warrants for his arrest. Brewer was remanded to the Craig Jail.

On 03/11/2022 at about 1922 hours, the Alaska State Trooper received a REDDI (Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately) report on a silver Chevrolet pick-up truck that was observed almost striking several parked vehicles and was having trouble maintaining the lane of travel. AST located the vehicle and attempted to stop the vehicle but the vehicle failed to pull over and accelerated and for two miles was observed crossing the center line multiple times and into the opposite lane of travel. The vehicle ultimately came to a stop near the intersection of Raspberry Road and South Point Higgins Road. The driver Brett Summers, age 47 of Ketchikan was found to be operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol. Summers was additionally charged with Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test, and Reckless Driving. Summers was remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with No Bail. AST would like to thank the concerned citizens who reported the dangerous driver.

On 03/11/2022 at about 2149 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a disturbance at a residence on Phillips Lane. AST responded to Investigate. Investigation revealed that Chadwick Pullock, age 30 of Ketchikan had assaulted a family member. Pullock was arrested for Assault in the 4th Degree DV and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with No Bail. Alcohol was a factor.

On 03/12/2022, Alaska State Troopers responded to the home of Jonathan McGraw in Naukati Bay to conduct a probation check at the request of the Department of Corrections. AST located methamphetamine, numerous prescription pills, marijuana, syringes, scales, baggies, cash, and assorted paraphernalia. Also located were products and chemicals used to taint drug testing attempts. McGraw was arrested for probation violation and further charges are pending.
