On 09/22/19 at approximately 0257 hours, officers responded to the 2700 block of Tongass
Avenue for a report of a group of individuals causing a disturbance. Officers contacted Lowell
Oposcolo, age 36, as one of the individuals. A record check showed Mr. Oposcolo to have valid
conditions of release not to consume alcohol. Mr. Oposcolo was arrested for Violation of
Conditions of Release. He was transported to the state jail and held on $250.00 bail.
On 09/23/19 at approximately 2032 hours, officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 300
block of Spruce St. Officers contacted Robert Lewis, age 49, who was arrested for Criminal
Mischief in the 5th Degree and transported to the state jail where he was set to be released on
his own recognizance.
On 09/23/19 at approximately 2117 hours, officers saw Jose M. Crespo-Diaz, age 47, exit an east
side liquor store carrying alcoholic beverages. Mr. Crespo-Diaz has court ordered conditions of
release not to consume or possess alcoholic beverages. He was arrested for Violation of
Conditions of Release. He was transported and to the state jail and held without bail.
On 9/23/19 at approximately 2150 hours, officers contacted Michael Cox, age 23, in the 300
block of Bawden Street. He was arrested for violating his conditions of release and found Mr.
Cox to be in possession of heroin. He was transported to the state jail where he was booked in
for Violation of Conditions of Release and Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the 4th
Degree. He was held without bail.
On 09/25/19 at approximately 1114 hours, officers contacted Howard Falkner, age 38, in the
1800 block of Tongass Avenue. Mr. Falkner was known to have an outstanding arrest warrant.
Mr. Falkner was arrested for the warrant charging him with Assault in the 4th Degree, Theft in
the 4th Degree and Violation of Conditions of Release. These charges are related to an incident
that occurred on September 3, 2019. Mr. Falkner was transported to the state jail and held
without bail.
On 09/25/19 at approximately 1251 hours, officers responded to an apartment in the 300 block
of Bawden Street due to a report of trespassing. Officers contacted James Brown, age 51, in the
apartment. Mr. Brown was not allowed in the apartment and he entered without permission.
He was arrested for Trespass in the 1st Degree. Mr. Brown was transported to the state jail
where he was set to be released on his own recognizance.
On 09/25/19 at approximately 1856 hours, officers responded to an apartment in the 600 block
of Park Avenue due to a report of suspicious activity. Officers contacted Kami Riley, age 44. She
was intoxicated and she had conditions of release stating she could not consume alcohol. She
was arrested for Violation of Conditions of Release. She was transported to the state jail where
she was held on $1,000.00 bail.
On 9/26/19 at approximately 1318 hours, officers responded to the 400 block of Hillcrest Road
for a report of an assault that had just occurred. Officers contacted Margaret McElroy, age 66,
who was arrested for Assault in the 4th Degree, and Theft in the 3rd Degree. She was transported
to the state jail and held on $1,000.00 bail.
On 9/27/19 at approximately 1249 hours, officers contacted Angelina McDonald, age 34, in the
400 block of Main Street due to her having an outstanding arrest warrant. The warrant was
Petition to Revoke Probation. She was arrested and transported to the state jail where she was
held on $500.00 bail.
On 9/28/19 at approximately 1330 hours, officers contacted a 30 year old male in the 400 block
of Main Street due to a report of a domestic assault. The male had been assaulted by his exgirlfriend Jacqueline Blair, age 33. With the assistance of the Alaska State Troopers, Ms. Blair
was located and arrested for Assault in the 4th Degree – Domestic Violence, transported to the
state jail and held without bail.
On 09/29/19 at approximately 0203 hours, officers stopped a white truck in the 2400 block of
Tongass Avenue for erratic driving. The vehicle struck a wooden post before coming to a stop.
The driver, Kyle L. Zimmerman, age 25, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. He was
transported to the state jail and was set to be released on his own recognizance.
On 09/29/19 at approximately 1352 hours, officers contacted David Torres, age 34, in the 3300
block of First Street for an outstanding warrant. The warrant was for Failure to Report to Serve
Jail Time. Mr. Torres was arrested, transported to the state jail and held without bail.
On 10/01/19 at approximately 2238 hours, officers served Michael P. Cox, age 23, a summons in
the 1200 block of Schoenbar Road. He was charged with Assault in the 4th Degree and Violation
of Conditions of Release. This charge comes from an incident that occurred on 09/23/19.
On 10/2/19 at approximately 0107 hours, officers contacted Nicholes Daniels age 37, in the
3400 block of Tongass Avenue during a traffic stop. Mr. Daniels was arrested for Violation of
Conditions of Release and Unlawful Contact in the 1st Degree. He was transported to the state
jail and held without bail.
On 10/02/19 at approximately 0807 hours, officers responded to the area of 300 Bawden Street
due to a report of a domestic disturbance and contacted Deven McKee, age 22. Mr. McKee was
arrested for Assault in the 4th Degree - Domestic Violence and Violation of Conditions of
Release. Mr. McKee was transported to the state jail where he was held without bail.
On 10/2/19 at approximately 0853 hours, Jes Boyd, age 34, was arrested at a residence in the
2700 block of Second Avenue due to him having two outstanding arrest warrants for Violation of
Conditions of Release. He was transported to the state jail and held on $10,000.00 bail.
On 10/04/19 at approximately 0630 hours, officers responded to the 1300 block of Woodside
Drive for a report of a suspicious vehicle idling outside of a home. Officers responded and
contacted Nathaniel Leask, age 43. Mr. Leask had a warrant for Failure to Appear for Court Date.
He was arrested, transported to the state jail and held on $250.00 bail.
