The POW Youth leaders are asking for your pledge and support to help one of our youth leaders and her family as they traverse through this difficult time. Allisa is a youth leader who has dedicated her time to volunteering and helping others here on the island.
She is the daughter of Lisa Trimmer, who just recently passed on Easter from breast cancer. Lisa is survived by her husband Jeff, her daughters April, Alissa and her twin boys Alex and Allen.
The youth leaders have asked to help them and have offered to do an Island bike-a-thon pledge fundraiser. They have asked to start in Hollis and ride the entire length of the Island to Labourchere Bay--approximately 125 miles.
