On March 9, 2019 at about 8:30AM, the Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales island responded to a residence in Naukati after receiving a report of an assault. Investigation revealed 45 year old Dominique Crivello assaulted a family member. Troopers were unable to initially locate Crivello. At about 5:30PM, AST received information in regards to Crivello's whereabouts. Troopers located Crivello and when they attempted to arrest him, he became combative and physically resisted arrest. Crivello was placed under arrest and transported to the Craig Jail where he was remanded for Assault IV DV and Resisting Arrest. He was held without bail.

On 3-9-2019 the Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited John Richardson, 55, of Ketchikan for making a false statement on a 2017 resident sport fishing license. This violation has a set fine of $310 and an optional court appearance in the First Judicial District Court in Ketchikan.

On 03/8/2019, Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Ketchikan Post, charged Cody Evans 75 YOA, Jennifer Geary 41 YOA and Sean Simpson 42 YOA all of Ketchikan. Evans was charged with failing to report Dungeness crab on a fish ticket, unlawful possession of fish, unlawful retention of female King Crab, and unlawful possession of under size King Crab. Geary and Simpson were charged with unlawful possession of fish, unlawful retention of female King Crab, and unlawful possession of under size King Crab. The fishermen were charged after State Troopers located 15 under size, female Red King crab aboard the F/V Kokomo in Ward Cove. Further investigation revealed the F/V Kokomo failed to report commercially taken Dungeness crab on an Alaska Department of Fish and game fish ticket before offloading and selling the crab. Arraignment is scheduled in the Ketchikan District Court on 03/20/2019.

On 3/13/2019 at 1409 hours, Prince of Wales State Troopers arrested 67 year old Gregg Parsley of Naukati Bay on an outstanding no bail arrest warrant for the original charge of Violating conditions of release and Violation of a Domestic Violence Protection Order. Parsley was remanded at the Craig Jail pending arraignment.

On 3/14/19, Alaska Wildlife Troopers on Prince of Wales Island cited Matthew Sapier, age 46 of Craig, for making a false statement on his 2018 resident hunting license application. Sapier purchased an Alaska resident hunting license in October of 2018 claiming residency beginning in April of 2017. Investigation revealed that Sapier did not meet the regulatory requirements for Alaska residency until January of 2019.

On March 3, 2019 at about 7:30PM, the Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales island received a report of a home invasion in Thorne Bay. There were two persons, who resided at the house, that were assaulted and injured during the home invasion. Initially, it was unknown who the assailants were. As a result of the investigation, 30 year old Thorne Bay resident Luke Killian and 29 year old Thorne Bay resident Trevor Killian were both charged with Burglary I and Assault IV. On March 11, 2019, arrest warrants were issued for both, and Trevor turned himself in at the Craig Police Department. Luke Killian still has an outstanding arrest warrant in regards to this matter. It is believed that Luke is currently out of state. Anyone with information regarding Luke's location when he returns to Alaska is encouraged to contact the Alaska State Troopers at 907-225-5118.

On March 15, 2019 at approximately 1422 hrs, 48 year old Robert Chamberlain of Ketchikan was taken into custody on an arrest warrant for Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the First Degree. Chamberlain was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held without bail, pending his arraignment.

On 3-16-19 at approximately 1355 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to the report of a disturbance at a residence on Vista Drive. Investigation revealed that Maria Baker, age 27 of Ketchikan, assaulted a family member. Baker was arrested for Assault IV (DV) and remanded to the Ketchikan Correctional Center without incident.

On 3/15/2019 at 1929 hours, Prince of Wales State Troopers responded to a single vehicle roll-over near 6 Mile Craig/Klawock Hwy. Investigation revealed a 2006 Kia driven by a 20 year old Craig resident was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the highway. The driver was transported off-island for suspected serious injuries. Speed and alcohol are both believed to be contributing factors into the crash. Investigation is on-going.
