On 05/02/2020 at about 2032 hours, the Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a white Dodge Durango on Lotus Street for an equipment violation. Investigation revealed that the driver Trenton Escoffon, age 25 of Ketchikan was operating a motor vehicle while his driver's license was Revoked. Escoffon had also been previously cited for DWLR. Escoffon was issued a Summons for DWLR and the vehicle was released to a licensed driver. Escoffon was also issued a traffic citation for Failure to Show Proof of Insurance.

On 05/02/2020, at approximately 2017 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Park Avenue in Ketchikan for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, Richard Davis (age 55 of Ketchikan), was issued a misdemeanor citation for driving with a suspended license. The vehicle was released to a licensed passenger.

On 05/08/2020 at about 2208 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted Clarence York, age 58 of Ketchikan near 11385 North Tongass Highway. York was found violating a DVPO issued to him by being in contact with victim and other family members. Further investigation revealed that York was also violatiing current conditions of release set by the Ketchikan Courthouse reference the original charge of Assault in the 4th Degree and Resisting Arrest. York was transported and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with No Bail.

On 05/07/2020 at about 1937 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a Domestic Disturbance at a residence on Higgins Spur Road. Investigation revealed that David Vest, age 43 physically assaulted a family member. Vest was also found to be on current conditions of release reference the original charge of Assault in the 4th Degree. Upon Troopers arrival Vest barricaded himself inside his residence and would not open the door. On 05/08/2020 AST applied and was granted an Arrest Warrant for Vest. Vest was later apprehended on 05/08/2020 by AST and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with No Bail.

On 05/08/2020 at about 2205 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted and arrested Ezekial Roberts, age 19 of Ketchikan at a beach near mile 11 of the North Tongass Highway. Roberts had an outstanding warrant reference the original charge of Sexual Assault Against a Minor in the 2nd Degree. Roberts was transported and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with bail set at $5,000.

On 5/8/2020 at 1524 hours, Prince of Wales State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 1990 Chevrolet pickup for an equipment violation in Klawock. The driver, later identified as 37 year-old Georgina Mathes initially provided a false name to troopers. Upon investigation, AST determined Mathes's true identity which revealed she is on conditions of release in a felony DV case, and that her Alaska driver's license is suspended. Further investigation revealed Mathes has previous convictions for driving while suspended. Mathes was arrested and transported to Craig Jail for False Info, VCOR and DWLS.
