On 08/20/2019 at about 1732 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted and arrested Andrew Smith, age 57 of Ketchikan in the 4200 Block of Tongass Avenue. Andrew had an outstanding arrest warrant reference the original charge of PTRP- technical violation. Andrews was transported to Ketchikan Correctional Center with bail set at $5,000.

On 08/20/2019 at about 2131 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted and arrested Kami Riley, age 44 of Ketchikan in the 2700 Block of Tongass Avenue. Riley had an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from the original charges of Theft 2, Theft 3, and VCOR. Upon arresting Riley she physically resisted and was ultimately arrested. Further Investigation revealed that Riley also was found to be violating conditions of release by consuming alcohol and being at a location which sold alcohol. Riley was transported and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with bail set at $1,750. Alcohol was a factor.

On 8/22/2019 at about 1000 hours, Prince of Wales Troopers responded to Hydaburg for a reported disturbance. On-scene investigation revealed that 42 year old Mitchell Carle of Hydaburg damaged the property of a household member. Further investigation revealed that while Carle was yelling and screaming in the face of the same family member, he sprayed that person with saliva. Carle was arrested for Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, and Harassment in the First Degree both of which were determined to be domestic violence crimes. Carle was remanded to the Craig Jail pending arraignment.

On 8/11/19, Alaska Wildlife Troopers Prince of Wales conducted commercial caught salmon offloads of seine fleet tenders. The FV Debra D offloaded prohibited species of fish which had been purchased from commercial seine vessels. The captain, Erik Hart (age 46) of Washington, was issued a summons on 8/22/19 with a mandatory appearance in the Prince of Wales District Court.

On 8/18/19, Alaska Wildlife Troopers Prince of Wales conducted commercial caught salmon offloads of seine vessels. The FV Anna Marie offloaded prohibited species of fish as set by Emergency Order. The captain, Michael Weynands (age 52) of Washington, was issued a summons on 8/22/19 with a mandatory appearance in the Prince of Wales District Court.

On 08/21/2019 at about 2102 hours, the Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a black Scion for an equipment violation at mile 1 of the South Tongass Highway. The driver was later identified as Kristy Shields, age 39 of Ketchikan and provided a false name upon contact. Investigation revealed that Shields had a Suspended driver's license. Shields was issued a Summons for False Information, and DWLS. Shields was also issued traffic citations for Failure to Show Proof of Insurance, and Expired Registration. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.

On 08/22/2019 at about 1755 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted and arrested Shelby Arrington, age 27 of Ketchikan in the 300 Block of Front Street. Arrington had an three outstanding arrest warrants issued by the Ketchikan Courthouse from the original charges of PTRP and Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree. Arrington was transported and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with bail set at $300.00.

On August 24, 2019, the Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales island contacted 32 year old Gwen Peratrovich in Hydaburg. Peratrovich was arrested on two outstanding arrest warrant and was transported to the Craig Jail where she was remanded for $10,000.00

Type: Sport Fish Guide - Assist Client In ViolationDispatch Text:
On 8/17/19, Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Juneau Post, working onboard the P/V Enforcer, contacted Michael Greene, age 55, of Montana, near Kasaan Bay while he was acting as a sport fish guide on a chartered vessel. Investigation revealed Greene had allowed a client to retain a King Salmon under the legal size limit of 28 inches. The King Salmon was seized and later donated to a charity. Greene was issued a strict liability citation for assisting a client in a violation and has a mandatory court date in the Ketchikan District Court.

Type: Sport Fish With More Than 1 Line, No Sport Fish LicenseDispatch Text:
On 8/16/19 Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Juneau Post, working onboard the P/V Enforcer, contacted Ronald and Philip Bailey, both of Utah, as they were sport fishing for bottom fish near Rose Island in Clarence Strait. Investigation revealed that Ronald Bailey was sport fishing with the use of 2 rods. Further investigation revealed Philip Bailey was sport fishing without his license in possession. P. Bailey was issued a correctable $220.00 citation for sport fishing without his license in possession. R. Bailey was issued a $120.00 citation for sport fishing with the use of more than 1 line. Both citations were issued in the Petersburg District Court.

The FV Rondy offloaded prohibited species of fish which had been purchased from commercial seine vessels. The captain, Marc Sehlback (age 39) of Arizona, was issued a summons to appear in the Prince of Wales District Court.
