On 12/27/2018 at about 1721 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a damage vehicle at mile 15 of the North Tongass Highway. Investigation revealed that a vehicle backed into a white 2003 Toyota Pick-up truck parked in the driveway. Further investigation after evidence was found at the scene lead to the arrest of Dale Withem, age 40 of Ketchikan. It was found that Withem damaged the property of a family member intentionally by backing his vehicle into the unoccupied family members vehicle and causing an estimated $2000.00 worth of damage before fleeing the scene and later being located at his residence. Withem was remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with No Bail.

On December 30, 2018 at about 1:18AM, the Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales island responded to a residence after receiving a report of a disturbance. Investigation revealed 42 year old Klawock resident Anne Ritchey assaulted a household member and broke multiple items in the residence. Anne was arrested and transported to the Craig Jail where she was remanded for Assault IV and Criminal Mischief IV.
