Ketchikan Police Report Week of December 5, 2018

On 12/05/18 at approximately 2117 hours, Officers contacted Tyler J. Close, age 26, on Ketchikan Lakes Road. Mr. Close was arrested on four outstanding warrants and two new charges, Unlawful Contact in the First Degree and Violation of Conditions of Release. He was transported to the state jail and held on no bail.

On 12/07/18 at approximately 1924 hours, Officers were dispatched to a business in the 2400 block of Tongass Avenue. Candra. D. Deguzman, age 32, was contacted and arrested for Violating Conditions of Release. Ms. Deguzman was transported to the state jail and held on$250.00 bail.

On 12/09/18 at approximately 0050 hours, Officers contacted Cheyenne Jackson, age 21, in the 800 block of Water Street due to a report of a domestic disturbance. Ms. Jackson was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and transported to the state jail where she was booked and set to be released on her own recognizance.

On 12/09/18 at approximately 0622 hours, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of 5th Avenue and contacted Amber Torgelson, age 19, as the driver. Ms. Torgelson was arrested for Violation of Conditions of Release. She was transported to the state jail where she was held on $250.00 bail.

On 12/09/18 at approximately 1546 hours, Officers contacted Kailee Tavares, age 19, in the 100 block of Austin Street. Ms. Tavares was served a summons charging her with Petition to Revoke Probation.

On 12/10/18 at approximately 1625 hours, Officers contacted Steven W. Kelley, age 48, at the state building on Main Street. Mr. Kelley was arrested on an outstanding probation violationwarrant. He was transported to the state jail and held on $100.00 bail.

On 12/14/18 at approximately 2335 hours, Officers contacted Gabreal Easterly, age 39, inside a bar in the 500 block of Water Street. Mr. Easterly was arrested for violating his conditions of release. He was transported to the state jail and held on $250 bail.

On 12/15/18 at approximately 0152 hours, Officers contacted Shawn Roberts, age 39, in the 500 block of Water Street. He was served a summons to appear in court for the charge of Theft in the Fourth Degree. The summons stems from a December 2018 case.

On 12/15/18 at approximately 1325 hours, Officers responded to Copper Ridge Road to investigate the report of an intoxicated male refusing to get off the Borough Bus. Ethan Bolton, age 28, was contacted as the subject of the call and refused to exit the bus. He was arrested for Trespass in the Second Degree. He was transported to the state jail and was to be released to his own recognizance.

On 12/15/18 at approximately 2257 hours, Officers received a report of students threatening to shoot up a local school. As a result of the investigation two male juveniles, ages 13 and 14, were arrested for Terroristic Threatening. They were turned over to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
