On August 4, 2018 at about 9:36PM, the Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales island received a report of an assault that had occurred in Naukati. Investigation revealed 66 year old Gregg Parsley had assaulted a family member as well as caused property damage of a family member. Parsley was arrested and transported to Craig Police Department where he was remanded for Assault III, Assault IV, and Criminal Mischief IV.

On 8/6/18, Alaska Wildlife Troopers on Prince of Wales Island conducted an inspection of the salmon purse seine tender vessel offload of the FV Robert Magnus. It was discovered that the vessel had ten king salmon and two steelhead on board that had not been recorded on a fish ticket. The captain of the vessel was identified as Peter MacDonald, age 66 of Washington. McDonald was issued an Alaska Uniform Citation to appear in court for failing to accurately record all fish on a fish ticket, as required by regulation

On 8/5/18, Alaska Wildlife Troopers on Prince of Wales Island conducted an inspection of the salmon purse seine offload of the FV Katlian. It was discovered that the vessel had two king salmon greater than 28” on board, in violation of Emergency Order 1S4718. The captain of the vessel was identified as Byron Skinna Jr, age 52 of Klawock. Skinna was issued an Alaska Uniform Citation to appear in court for the charge of Unlawful Possession of Fish.

It was discovered that the vessel had one king salmon greater than 28” on board, in violation of Emergency Order 1S4718. The captain of the vessel was identified as Charles McCullough, age 35 of Petersburg. McCullough was issued an Alaska Uniform Citation to appear in court for the charge of Unlawful Possession of Fish.

On 8/6/18, Alaska Wildlife Troopers on Prince of Wales Island conducted an inspection of the salmon purse seine tender vessel offload of the FV Diligence. It was discovered that the vessel had 49 king salmon and seven steelhead on board that had not been recorded on a fish ticket. The captain of the vessel was identified as Pleny Hyde-Rivera, age 43 of Florida. Rivera was issued an Alaska Uniform Citation to appear in court for failing to accurately record all fish on a fish ticket as required by regulation, and for unlawfully possessing King Salmon in violation of Emergency Order 1S4718.

The investigation revealed the captain and permit holder, David Demmert Jr. of Washington State, unlawfully retained king salmon. The 8/5/18 purse seine fishery closed the retention of king salmon greater than 28 inches in length by emergency order. He was issued a summons to appear in the Prince of Wales District Court.

On 7/28/18, Alaska Wildlife Troopers Prince of Wales Post conducted an investigation into a deer which had been shot in the Shaan Seet Trailer Court in Craig. The investigation led to Dominic Marcangelo (25 y/o) of Craig being charged on 7/31/18 with taking a deer closed season and unlawful possession. He was issued a summons to appear in the Prince of Wales District Court.

The traffic stop led to Michael Brewer, 53 of Hollis, being charged with driving while his license was revoked. He was issued a citation to appear in the Prince of Wales District Court.
