Craig Police Report Week of October 29, 2017


The following incidents were reported to and/or investigated by the Craig Police Department:

10/29/17
2:00 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy and Dump road, a verbal warning was given for speed and driving left of center.
2:42 a.m. Received a report from an officer of 2 loose K-9, both taken to pound.
3:24 a.m. Received a report of a suspicious person at the school, an officer responded, matter resolved.
4:14 a.m. Fire Department responded to a call in SSTC.
4:19 a.m. A 50 year old woman was taken into Protective Custody.
1:14 p.m. EMS responded to a call on E. Hamilton.
4:56 p.m. Received a report of a lost wallet/ bag.
5:42 p.m. EMS responded to a call in the Upper Harborview TC.
7:12 p.m. 2 Citations were issued for animal Running at large.
7:23 p.m. 2 Citations were issued to the cabs for Vehicle for hire service.
7:27 p.m. EMS responded to a call on 2nd street.
9:06 p.m. An officer reported a suspicious person near a local business on 7th street, a verbal warning was given for an open container.
9:18 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at AML parking, a verbal warning was given for equipment violation and speed, a citation was issued for no proof of insurance.
9:41 p.m. 2 Citations were issued to the cabs for Vehicle for hire service.
10:06 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on PSN, a verbal warning was given for speed.

10/30/17
11:09 a.m. Received a report of suspicious activity at the Burn Pit, an officer was notified.
4:33 p.m. EMS responded to a call on Sunnyside drive.
5:05 p.m. Received a report of a loose K-9, PAWS was contacted, K-9 returned to owner.
7:29 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at AML parking, a verbal warning was given for speed.
7:40 p.m. Received a report of a suspicious vehicle at the Ball field, an officer responded, matter resolved.
9:04 p.m. Received a report of a cab with its flashers on C/K Hwy, an officer responded, matter resolved.
9:31 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on PSN, a verbal warning was given for driving left of center.
9:42 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at Burn Pit, a verbal warning was given for equipment violation.

10/31/17
12:33 p.m. An employee with Shaan Seet spoke with an officer about a vehicle left on their property leaking oil.
12:53 p.m. Received a request for a welfare check, officers responded, all is well.
3:21 p.m. Received a traffic complaint of a vehicle on C/K Hwy to Craig swerving, an officer responded, verbal warning given for manner of driving.
3:30 p.m. A 42 year old male was arrested on an arrest warrant for charges of Alcohol Restricted-In Licensed Areas.
4:13 p.m. Received a report of a man violating his probation at a local business near West Wind Plaza, an officer was advised.
9:20 p.m. Received a juvenile complaint of pumpkin smashing on Cedar street, an officer was advised.
10:15 p.m. EMS responded to a call on Sunnyside drive.

11/1/17
3:33 a.m. Received a report of a domestic dispute on T&H street, an officer responded, matter resolved.
9:10 p.m. A 59 year old male was arrested on a state arrest warrant for charges of Alcohol Restricted-In Licensed Areas.

11/2/17
4:05 a.m. EMS responded to a call on Sunnyside drive.
8:52 a.m. A 42 year old male was arrested on charges of Violating Conditions Of Release.
11:41 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at Harbor parking, a verbal warning was given for speed.
3:24 p.m. Received a traffic complaint, vehicle speeding in Tanner Crab, an officer responded, a verbal warning was given for speed.
8:50 p.m. An officer returned a wallet that was left at the bar.

11/3/17
2:57 a.m. Received a report of a barking K-9 in SSTC, an officer was advised.
7:43 a.m. Received a report from person receiving threatening phone, an officer responded, matter resolved.
3:44 p.m. EMS responded to a call on Sunnyside drive.
5:13 p.m. Received a juvenile complaint at the City Gym, an officer responded, matter resolved.
5:24 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy and Dump rd, a verbal warning was given for equipment violation.
11:04 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on 4 mile C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for manner of driving.

11/4/17
12:21 a.m. Received a report of the cabs not running/ answering their phones, citations were issued to both cabs for Vehicle for hire service.
1:47 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop in SSTC, a verbal warning was given for equipment violation.
6:45 a.m. Received a report of a vehicle taken from Polk Inlet 2 days ago, AST notified, officers with Craig/ Klawock given vehicle description.
12:59 p.m. Received a juvenile complaint in the Harborview TC, an officer responded, matter resolved.
1:17 p.m. Received a report of a loose K-9 on E. Hamilton and Sunnahae ct, an officer responded.
3:06 p.m. EMS responded to a call on PSN.
5:34 p.m. Received a report of someone skateboarding in the middle of the road by the Harbors, an officer responded.
9:36 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on PSN, a verbal warning was given for speeding.
9:39 p.m. Received a request to have people removed from a residence in Harborview TC, an officer responded, matter resolved.
10:08 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy and Cold Storage rd, a verbal warning was given for equipment violation.
10:33 p.m. A 31 year old male was arrested on an arrest warrant for charges of Alcohol Restricted-In licensed Areas.
