Craig Police Report Week of July 23, 2017

The following incidents were reported to and/or investigated by the Craig Police Department:

7/23/17
12:34 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and the High School, a verbal warning was given for driving left of center.
1:05 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and AML, a verbal warning was given for a break light out.
3:18 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at E. Hamilton and Park Place, a verbal warning was given for not using a turn signal.
10:47 a.m. EMS responded to a call.
4:49 p.m. Received report of speeding vehicle, heading towards Craig. Officer stopped vehicle and warning issued.
7:01 p.m. Received a report of 3 people getting into a vehicle with open containers of alcohol.
8:28 p.m. A 21 year old female was arrested on charges of Assault in the Fourth Degree Domestic Violence.
9:48 p.m. received a report of a possible intoxicated driver. Officer contacted vehicle/person and driver found to be sober.

4:36 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at 3.2 mile C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for speeding.
7:53 a.m. Received a report of 2 dogs running loose. Officer responded and found dogs tied up.
8:29 p.m. An officer was advised of a disturbance / party in SSTC. Officer responded and party ended.
9:08 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and the Dump Rd, a verbal warning was given for driving left of center.

7/25/17
9:33 a.m. Received a report of an alarm, officer responded and found alarm tripped by accident.
11:28 a.m. A 48 year old male was arrested on charges of an Arrest Warrant for Theft in the Fourth Degree and Violating Conditions Of Release.
11:55 a.m. Received a report of juveniles playing soccer in the road near C/K Hwy and the Harbor, officer responded and kids moved to other location.
4:55 p.m. Received a report of lost ID.
7:07 p.m. A 31 year old female was arrested on charges of Violating Conditions Of Release.
7:42 p.m. Received a report of a missing child. Officers investigated and child located.

7/26/17
1:03 a.m. EMS responded to a call, PSN.
12:24 p.m. Received a report of a theft, Water Street. Officer responded and investigation started.
12:30 A Subpoena was served 2nd street.
4:49 p.m. Received a report of a vehicle dumping fish carcasses. p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at 1.5 mile PSN, a verbal warning was given for speed.
8:28 p.m. EMS responded to a call, Tanner Crab Ct.
11:01 p.m. Received a report of fireworks going off SSTC.
11:29 Received a report of a speeding vehicle and occupants yelling/screaming.

7/27/17
3:01 p.m. Received a report of a vehicle weaving about roadway. Officer located vehicle, driver taking in sights and was sober.
6:59 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and Peace Health, a verbal warning was given for failing to stop at stop sign.
9:02 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at the Post Office, a verbal warning was given for failing to stop at stop sign.

7/28/17
1:05 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at Peace Health, a verbal warning was given for speeding.
3:08 a.m. A 24 year old male was arrested on charges of DUI.
7:12 a.m. Received a report of a vehicle speeding, heading towards Klawock. Klawock PD advised.
11:25 a.m. Received a report of a person skateboarding in the road on C/K Hwy near the Harbor, holding up traffic. Person contacted, warned if done again, would be arrested or charged.
12:22 p.m. Received a report of person refusing to leave, Water Street. Officer responded and person left.
1:57 p.m. Received a report of loose dog, East Hamilton and officer responded. Animal returned to owner.
2:11 p.m. A Subpoena was served 2nd street.
2:54 p.m. Received a report of a vehicles parked on privet property. Officer contacted owner, vehicles to be moved or towed.
6:20 p.m. Received a report of child not secured in vehicle.
6:51 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at W. Hamilton and Shelter Cove, a verbal warning was given for a break light out.
7:16 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at the Barge Landing on PSN, a verbal warning was given for speeding.
9:00 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at Peace Health, a verbal warning was given for a broken break light.
9:11 p.m. An officer conducts a traffic stop SSTC, warning issued for driving with parking lights only.
10:38 p.m. Received a report of a disturbance, intoxicated people on Spruce Street. Officer investigated and found no intoxicated people.
10:53 p.m. Received a report of possible intoxicated driver. Officer investigated and found driver to be sober.

7/29/17
12:56 a.m. Received a report of a disturbance, T&H Street. Officer responded and investigation was started.
6:42 a.m. A 28 year old male was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct and Indecent Exposure.
1:31 p.m. Received a report of a child abusing an K9. Officer advised and investigation started.


During the week of July 23, 2017 to July 29, 2017 the following complaints were reported and

0 abandoned vehicles; 5 adult arrest; 10 agency assists; 3 animal reports; 0 assault; 0 bear complaints; 0 burglaries, 4 business assists; 6 citizen assists, 1 citations were issued; 3 criminal mischief; 0 criminal trespass,1 disorderly conduct;5 disturbances; 0 domestic dispute; 0 Domestic Violence Orders Served,0 fire call, 0 found property, 0 harassments, 0 juvenile arrest 2 juvenile complaints; 1 lost property; 4 medical call; 0 motor vehicle accidents; 0 noise complaints; 0 protective custodies; 2 subpoena served,0 summons served; 2 suspicious circumstances; 0 theft; 7 traffic complaints; 0 unsecured premise, 14 verbal warnings and 0 welfare checks were given
