Hollis 4th of July Events [2017]

There will be 2 separate events:

Event: 4th of July Celebration

Location: Harris River Day Use area

Time: Organized Events begins at 3:00 PM and ends just after 6:00PM

Details:
Bring a dish to share and your best Cookie for a cookie contest, BBQ will be available for use.
For the Kids there will be a Treasure Hunt and Pinata and other Misc events.

For the Adults/Teens there will be horse shoes and the slowest bike race, so please bring your bike! Winner of the slowest bike race will have the honor of judging the "Best Cookie" Contest.

Event: Star Spangled Banner Parade

Place: Road outside the Ferry Terminal

Time: Event will begin at 6:20 PM and End after the last car and/or crew exit the ferry.

Details:
We will be welcoming our Guests to the Island and the Ferry staff in Hollis in true fashion by lining the road and waving flags and sparklers. Bring a flag! Sparklers will be provided.
