Don't Pick Up Baby Deer if You Find Them Alone in the Woods

If you care, you'll leave them there! Every year we have people who carelessly "save " deer fawns. Just because the mother has stashed their young while they are out foraging, doesn't mean [that] they are abandoned. It's what they do, until the fawn is big enough to run with its mother. And if [you] don't care, pick them up and secure their death sentence.
