The following incidents were reported to and/or investigated by the Craig Police Department:
4/9/17
12:47 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and Sunnahae trail, a verbal warning was given for driving without headlight.
2:11 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at .5 mile PSN, a verbal warning was given for speed.
10:00 p.m. Received a report of some intoxicated males walking past the Harbormaster building heading down town, an officer was advised and stated he saw them walking but they weren’t causing any disturbance.
4/10/17
12:39 a.m. Received of a possible injured person, bleeding from face and an officer was dispatched. Person left area, prior to officer arriving.
10:24 a.m. Person reported losing his identification, either in Craig or Klawock. Rpt. taken.
6:47 p.m. Received a report from a man at 3 mile PSN that his dog has gone missing, a 70 lb all white with a black patch on his eye, goes by the name of Eddie, an officer was advised.
6:51 p.m. A Summons was served at 500 block of Water street.
10:10 p.m. EMS responded to a call at 200 block of Cove street.
4/11/17
1:26 a.m. ARMC requested assistance with contacting a patient, for pending medical concerns. Officer contacted patient and ARMC advised.
7:19 a.m. Received a report of injured dog, East Hamilton near park, officer responded and owner of K9 found, secured animal.
Conducted a traffic stop at North Cove parking lot, a verbal waning was given for no tail light.
4/12/17
11:59 a.m. Received a report of a deceased animal, West Hamilton area.
1:42 p.m. Received a report from the Harbormaster that 4 vehicles were in violation of parking signs, North Cove parking lot, written warnings to all 4 vehicles.
4:51 p.m. Received a report of a vehicle that was damaged in a parking lot, while person was at work. Investigation started.
5:21 p.m. Received a juvenile complaint from a First Bank employee of 2 males riding skateboards on the rails outside of the bank, they were warned twice and staff just wanted officers to be aware, in case they returned.
8:38 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 2 mile C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for no tail lights.
10:40 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 500 block Shaan Seet TC, a verbal warning was given for a break light out.
11:41 p.m. EMS responded to a call at 1600 block E. Hamilton.
4/13/17
4:13 p.m. EMS responded to a call at 4.5 mi PSN.
4:29 p.m. Received a report of a vehicle parked in handicap spot, local business and driver possible being under influence of something. Officer responded, no signs of impairment detected.
7:54 p.m. EMS responded to a call at 700 block of Beach Rd.
8:28 p.m. A 45 yr old male was taken into Protective Custody.
4/14/17
7:49 a.m. Received a report from a local business, very young/small child walking alone and officer was sent. Investigation started.
1:42 p.m. Received a report of an oil spill coming from a F/V at the end of North Cove Dock, an officer responded and an investigation was started.
2:49 p.m. A 59 yr old male was arrested on charges of Assault in the fourth degree domestic violence.
2:59 p.m. Received a report of a fire alarm going off at a residence on 500 block of W. Hamilton drive, an officer responded and advised of no fire.
3:47 p.m. A 51 yr old male was arrested on charges of DUI.
4:00 p.m. A set of keys were found, turned into Police.
4:23 p.m. Received a report of a person attempting to enter a trailer, in Harborview TC without permission. Officer responded, person care taking trailer allowed person to stay, for one night.
5:10 p.m. Received a report of an intoxicated male staggering down the road in 500 block of Beach road. Officer responded and matter resolved.
10:31 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 3 mile C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for an out tail light.
4/15/17
4:46 p.m. Received a report from a woman on T&H street of a male drinking and she is worried he will be driving later, an officer was advised and will keep an eye out for the vehicle.
6:27 p.m. Received a report from a woman in the Harborview TC, she stated that the people that were allowed to stay in one of the trailers was now refusing to leave and requested an officer, an officer responded and the issue was resolved.
7:26 p.m. Received a report of two intoxicated males fighting in the street on Cold Storage road, an officer responded and the 2 men were transported to the 400 block of Shaan Seet TC.
9:06 p.m. EMS responded to a call on T&H street.
10:42 p.m. Received a report of a fight outside of a local business on 300 block of Water street, officers responded and the issue was resolved.
During the week of April 9, 2017 to April 15, 2017 the following complaints were reported and investigated by the Craig Police Department:
0 abandoned vehicles; 2 adult arrest;5 agency assists; 3 animal reports; 0 assault; 0 bear complaints; 0 burglaries, 1 business assists; 8 citizen assists, 0 citations were issued; 1 criminal mischief; 0 criminal trespass, 0 disorderly conduct; 2 disturbances; 0 domestic dispute; 0 Domestic Violence Orders Served,0 fire call, 2 found property, 0 harassments, 0 juvenile arrest 1 juvenile complaints; 1 lost property; 5 medical call; 1 motor vehicle accidents; 0 noise complaints; 1 protective custodies; 0 subpoena served, 1 summons served; 5 suspicious circumstances; 0 theft; 2 traffic complaints; 0 unsecured premise, 6 verbal warnings and 0 welfare checks were given
