On 3/11/2017 at about 1900 hours, Prince of Wales based State Troopers responded to a reported vehicle in the ditch near the Hollis Ferry Terminal. Investigation resulted in the arrest of 31 year old Henry Alameda of Hydaburg for the offense of Driving under the Influence (Drugs). Alameda was remanded to the Craig Jail and released on his own recognizance.

On 03/14/2017 at about 1102 hours, Prince of Wales Alaska State Troopers and Wildlife Troopers contacted 31 year old Curtis Demmert of Klawock at the Island Air Terminal in Klawock. Investigation revealed Demmert to be wanted on a $10,000 fail to comply with release warrant. Demmert was arrested and remanded to the Craig Jail.

On 3/15/17, Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Prince of Wales Post, issued a citation to Thomas Ruckman ( 33 y/o) of Klawock for failing to return his permit hunt harvest record to Alaska Department of Fish and Game in the required time period. Bail was set at $110 with an optional appearance in the Prince of Wales District Court.

On 03-18-17 at approximately 1525 hours, Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales conducted a traffic stop on a 1998 Chevrolet Malibu near MP 7 of the Craig-Klawock Highway for an equipment violation. Investigation revealed Matthew Charles, age 82 of Hydaburg, was driving the vehicle in violation of his driver’s license restriction. Charles was issued a summons for Driving in Violation of Restricted License.
