Chuck Berry, regarded as one of the most influential figures in American popular music, died Saturday at age 90.
Police responded to a medical emergency at Berry's home near Wentzville around 12:40 p.m. Saturday. He was unresponsive and died at 1:26 p.m. after failed attempts to revive him, according to the St. Charles County Police Department.

Of course, we should be wary of this "post-humous saint-hood" that has become the trend in the last several years. He was a music genius that nobody can deny, however, his personal life is nothing to be revered.
