On 01/15/2017 at about 0930 hours, Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales Island conducted a traffic stop on a 1999 green Ford pickup after observing the female driver not wearing a safety belt. Investigation resulted in the driver, Celesty Farmer, age 32 of Craig, being issued a misdemeanor citation for improper use of plates after ASPIN revealed the license plate displayed belonged on a silver Mercury Cougar. Farmer was additionally issued citations for failing to wear seatbelt, no proof of insurance and operating the vehicle with expired registration.

Type: Drive in Violation of Restricted License

On 01/19/17 at approximately 1413 hours, Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation on white Chevrolet passenger car near MP 15 of the Klawock-Hollis Highway. Investigation revealed Travis Gresham, age 67 of Hydaburg, was operating the vehicle in violation of a restriction on his driver’s license. Gresham was issued a summons for Driving in Violation of Restricted License and the vehicle was released to a licensed driver.

On 01/20/2017 at approximately 1730 hours, Prince of Wales Troopers along with the assistance of the Hydaburg VPSO arrested Sandi Edenshaw, age 33 of Hydaburg on a felony warrant. Edenshaw was located hiding under a residence when taken into custody. She was remanded to the Craig Jail with bail set at $5000.
