Craig Police Department:
11/13/16
1:30 a.m. A Hollis resident contacted the Craig Police Department, regarding a protective order and had questions. Troopers advised.
10:31 a.m. Received a report of a wallet that was stolen, officer responded and investigation started.
4:04 p.m. Received a report of someone cutting up a bear down by Cemetery Park, an officer had responded and advised that 2 out of state hunters had shot the bear outside of Klawock and were cleaning it up.
4:27 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy at Sunnahae Trail Head, a verbal warning was given for speeding.
6:37 p.m. An officer provided transport for 3 juveniles from AC Thompson House to 400 block Shaan Seet.
11:44 Received a report of a Domestic Disturbance in the 700 block Shaan Seet Trailer Court, an officer responded, it was verbal only and resolved by contact.
11/14/16
2:39 p.m. Received a report of a man on the C/K Hwy near dump road pointing a rifle across the roadway, officers responded, contacted man who thought he was outside city limits.
5:11 p.m. Received a report of a set of studded tires stolen from a residence on Thompson Rd, an investigation was started.
5:41 p.m. Received a report of a vehicle at the Harbor Parking parked in the 1 hour parking for over a week, an officer was notified.
11/15/16
1:00 p.m. Received a report of a dispute between a landlord and tenant on 2nd street, an officer responded and assisted in returning items from tenant to landlord.
1:47 p.m. Received a report of a possible oil spill along the rocks near the Forest Service building in South Cove Harbor, the Harbormaster was notified.
2:49 p.m. Received a report of a missing brown/black long haired cat from Water street goes by “Fluffy”
6:48 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 4 mile C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for an out headlight.
7:13 p.m. Received a report of a disturbance a 400 block Shaan Seet trailer court, an officer responded, issue resolved.
9:42 p.m. Received a report of threatening texts between two individuals, an investigation was started.
11/16/16
4:04 a.m. An officer reported a vehicle in the ditch at 3.4 mile C/K Hwy, the vehicle was reported missing by owners, a tow truck took the vehicle to city impound.
2:52 p.m. Received a report of an intoxicated individual at the Behavioral Health Office who was thinking of hurting themselves, an officer responded and the issue was resolved.
3:42 p.m. A vehicle owner came by to pay for vehicle in impound, spoke with an officer.
7:44 p.m. Received a report of a disturbance at a Crab Bay float house, an officer responded, transport was given for a female to block Shaan Seet trailer court.
8:21 p.m. Received a report of a violated Protective order at Craig High School, an investigation was started.
11:32 p.m. Received a report of an intoxicated driver in a blue ford escape in the Craig/Klawock area.
11/17/16
8:15 a.m. Received a complaint of a violated Domestic Violence Protective Order at the High School the day before, an officer is following up on the investigation.
11:41 Conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy and Dump Road, a verbal warning was given for speed.
4:01 p.m. An officer served a summons on 2nd street.
4:01 p.m. Received a report of an Assault, Water Street, investigation started.
7:26 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop PSN Rd/ SSTC, a verbal warning was given for no brake lights working.
10:36 p.m. Received a report of a dog barking on Spruce street, an officer responded, issue resolved by contact.
11/18/16
9:47 a.m. Received a report of a vehicle doing burn outs in front of a home on E. Hamilton, an officer spoke to the home owner, will speak with the individual when they get home.
1:49 p.m. An officer issued a citation on 2nd street regarding a previous traffic complaint, for basic speed, negligent driving, immediate notice of an accident, and making a false report.
10:57 p.m. Received a report of a vehicle speeding and swerving on the C/K Hwy in front of the High School.
11/19/16
5:56 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 700 block SSTC and PSN Rd, a verbal warning was given for broken tail light.
11:52 Conducted a traffic stop at 3 mile C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for speed.
2:05 p.m. Received a report of a loose dog at Shaan Seet trailer court that was jumping on kids, the dog was picked up and brought to the Police Department, the dog sitter came and picked up the dog.
7:56 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at the Dump Rd/ C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for expired registration.
9:33 p.m. Received a report from 9th street of a woman who walked into a house that was not her own.
10:15 p.m. A 30 yr old female was placed under arrest for a Title 47 Protective Custody Hold for being a danger to herself as well as others.
