On 10/01/2016 at about 1248 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop a black Dodge truck at mile marker 14 of the Hydaburg Highway for a moving violation. The driver was identified and confirmed by his AK ID card as Robert Duncan 37 years old from Metlakatla. APSIN revealed Duncan's AK OL being revoked. Duncan was issued a citation for DWLR and given a future court date. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.

On 10/4/16, Alaska Wildlife Troopers from Prince of Wales Island contacted Anthony Knuteson, 36 of Ketchikan and Rhylee Gerber, 31 of Florida engaged in the commercial shrimp fishery in Cholmondely Sound. Gerber had not purchased a commercial crew members license, and she was cited for engaging in the fishery without a license. Knuteson as the permit holder was cited for employing an unlicensed crew member. The fine for each of those offenses is $260.00 through the Prince of Wales District Court.
